THE MAYKKER STORY

Founded in 2019 by Richie Blue and Casper Schjørring, Maykker Products is built on more than thirty years of industry experience. Richie Blue was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where the harsh realities of four distinct seasons quickly taught him the importance of gear that performs in all conditions.

Richie’s journey began in 1984 when he joined the United States military. While stationed in San Diego in 1986, he began moonlighting as a window cleaner, learning the foundations of the trade. After his honorable discharge in 1988, he transitioned into the industry full-time and eventually launched his own commercial and residential window cleaning business.

Although his path later included other professions and a return to college, Richie never lost his connection to the trade. Over the years, one frustration became clear: the tools available to window cleaners needed improvement. Richie envisioned a company that would treat window cleaners with the respect they deserve - starting with the equipment they rely on every day.

The name Maykker carries a deeper meaning. While designing a new tool one afternoon, Richie reflected on the act of making and creating; and on the ultimate Creator and Maker, God. From that moment, the name Maykker was born, representing a commitment to craftsmanship at the highest standard.

Today, Maykker is an international manufacturer of premium window cleaning and janitorial equipment. Every product we design is built with one goal: to perform flawlessly in the real conditions professionals face every day.
